Located in Chideock, between Bridport and West Bay to the east and Lyme Regis to the west. Ideally situated for exploring both West Dorset and East Devon and the famous scenic World Heritage Jurassic Coast which is just 20 minutes walk from the house. This vibrantly decorated house is family friendly and welcomes up to two well behaved dogs.

Yew Tree House is an extremely comfortable and spacious country house which combines traditional cottage features with a vibrant décor and some quirky fun additions. During the winter months, kick back in the larger of the two sitting rooms by lighting the wood-burner, warming you from top to toe. In summer open the bi-fold doors onto the sun soaked patio and garden and sit back and enjoy the stunning Dorset countryside views from the garden sitting room. The large country style kitchen flows seamlessly from the garden sitting room and family mealtimes can be enjoyed around the spacious dining table. Plans can be made for coastal walks, local market trips and antique hunting, fossil collecting and beach and kayak ventures. There’s plenty of space for socialising and relaxing so everyone can find a corner of their own.
Wander over the fields and footpaths at the rear of Yew Tree House to one of the best fossiling beaches at Seatown situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Enjoy some superb scenic coastal walking up to the top of Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast. Or venture east along the South West Coast Path towards Eype and West Bay, film location for Broadchurch, where you will find restaurants and cafes overlooking the beach, the working harbour and an eclectic vintage centre.
